Transformation Through Fat Burning Diets
At my heaviest I was 354 pounds! It went way past just a huge belly everything about me was huge. That was before I found out about fat burning diets. It was unbelievable. I was well on my way to 400 pounds, something needed to change. That something was me. I wanted to be healthy. I’m not sure I even knew how, by that point. Hell I was probably even a candidate for the surgery, I’m glad I didn’t even pursue that route.
A little more about my background, for most of my life fat or fat ass is pretty much the only title I’ve known except for a brief period in high school when I dropped over 100 pounds as I grew a couple inches and all of the sudden I went from being “big Jim” to kind of average Jim. That of course didn’t last long. I spent my twenties packing on the pounds.
Then one day last year I said enough is enough. I remembered the days of catching second glances from the ladies and feeling pretty damn good about myself. I vaguely remembered what it was like to feel good about myself. I was desperate to be that guy again, the one who didn’t get winded walking in from the car, the guy who had no problem striking a conversation up with even the prettiest of women, the guy who didn’t cringe when he saw his own body in the mirror. I know now I should have checked further into the facts about weight loss. I’m impatient however and didn’t even do any research at the time. I just needed to lose weight and needed it to happen ASAP.
I know I’ve heard it all about just eat less and move more. So I started to make a change I pretty much starved myself. At one point only eating a 1200 calorie diet (this was not smart). I worked out 6 days a week and I saw some pretty good results in the beginning, but then it all stalled. I took off 30 pounds in about three months, without using any actual fat burning diets, just kind of playing it by ear. This was great at first I still had a ways to go but I was making progress in my weight loss goals.
Then the stall, it was like I hit a plateau I still had about 100 pounds to go but I could not lose any more weight. It was demoralizing to say the least. I worked out just about every day, chicken breast became my go to protein. I avoided carbs most of the time, and I was so sick of it. I’ll admit it, I didn’t know what I was doing; my goal had not been just to lose fat, I also wanted to build up muscle. It was a great and noble goal that just didn’t work without a sufficient plan. After about a month of no weight loss I had it. I couldn’t understand I had been eating the “fat burning foods” I had been doing the exercises. I said screw it I was destined to be fat so I ate and ate. The funny thing is I didn’t enjoy the pig out; I still wasn’t ready to throw in the towel. I was Thirty three years old and ready to be in shape no matter how much work it took.
The whole eat less exercise more is for the most part the truth. However With the amount of weight I needed to lose this was not going to cut it completely. Fitness and nutrition is actually pretty complex, especially when it comes to processes like metabolism.
I needed a plan, something that would help me reach my goals, to get past the plateaus, and that included healthy eating not starving myself.
Thankfully I didn’t put much weight back on with my binge. I was too focused and intent this time on losing weight. That is when I started looking into fat burning recipes, and fat burning exercise. A quick note on fat burning foods they should not be confused with the myth of negative calorie foods.
To be honest prior to this I knew nothing of fat burning diets. If only I knew before I would probably be at goal right now. Thus far I have lost over 80 pounds, and a great deal of it was fat loss. I’ve done the low carb, the low fat, Weight Watchers, Jenny Craig and on and on. The fat burning system that I follow now is the best “diet” I have ever been on.
