I know I have not updated my fat burning progress in quite some time. I’m just unreliable at times when it comes to updating these pages. I got some great news last week. I track my weight daily and average my weekly totals but I use my monthly doctor visit for my official totals.
With trepidation I stepped on the scale at the office. I looked down and there it was 251. I had finally broke 100 pounds. I have to say it feels damn good. I wish I could claim that it was 100 pounds of pure fat I know that is not the whole story. Following a good program I know I ensured that the majority of the loss was fat.
It took me about 16 months to lose 100 pounds. I was hoping for faster results. That’s just the way it is sometimes. I have decided to continue with my fat burning diet until I reach about 210 pounds and reevaluate my goals from there. I think with my frame and the right amount of lean mass that will be a great weight for me.

I’ve always been fat but no longer. I refuse to ever go back to that. Take a moment and tell yourself the same. I love the fact that I am no longer winded walking up steps. I love the fact that I have more energy than I did ten years ago. I love the fact that I am once again living.
To anyone just starting this journey it can be done. It is far from easy, but it is doable. Commit today to take the first step. When you start seeing results it will really amaze you and keep you motivated. It does not matter what diet you choose as long as the principles are sound.
