Like I said on the last post I am really digging the weight loss show Money Hungry on VH1. I just watched the latest episode. The challenges are actually pretty cool. Yeah maybe the Regulators were at a disadvantage on this one but I think the women were at a disadvantage on some of the other challenges like the cake challenge for example.
I’m glad to see Grading Curves pulled off the win to become the Big Heavy for the week. Man Slimpossible whine much? I mean come on guys the whole sore loser thing is a bit unbecoming. It’s cool, somebody else has to win sometimes.
I was sad to see Jackie go. Definitely a cute little spitfire there. Great job Slenderellas on losing 75 pounds keep up the great work. I was hoping you guys would pull off the win somehow.
Great weight loss numbers for the regulators and slimpossible. That is even more important than the hundred grand when it comes down to it. Good luck to the 3 teams left.
So speaking of weight loss challenges on T.V. I recently discovered “Money Hungry” on VH1. This weekend was the first time I saw this show. I caught 4 or 5 episodes on Demand and I’m kind of hooked. Ten teams of 2 start off each putting up $10,000 of their own money. In the end one team will walk away with a hundred grand.
The show is a combination of weight loss challenge and game show. Each week there are challenges that grant immunity to the winner. The loser of the challenge is put up for elimination.
Next there is a vote to decide who will go up against the loser of the challenge for elimination. Whichever of these 2 teams loses the most weight gets to stay on for another week. It is actually a cool little system they have on “Money Hungry.”
I guess you could call it a mix of big brother and the biggest loser. It is unfortunate that some of the teams seem to rely on alliance rather than weight loss to stay on the show. Now that it is down to the final four that will have to change. My description is probably not the greatest check out VH1 to see the show. There are only a few episodes left.
Some of the teams found sponsors to put up their money. Others paid out of pocket, and some of them even got family members to contribute. It’s funny the competitors in this weight loss challenge that are out of pocket or found their own sponsors are much more motivated. It’s funny but not really a shocker. Actually it is a bit sad. They had access to an expert personal trainer and tons of equipment and did not even take advantage of it, Phillip especially. I was torn about seeing him go, he definitely added entertainment value. Plus his partner is a hottie for sure.
I feel any of the four teams left deserve to win and am interested to see how it pans out. I think it is definitely a show worth checking out. You can even watch some of the full episodes of “Money Hungry” online at VH1.
One of the greatest things about the show is that it pushes people to take action. As I said in my previous post about Christina from the teen weight loss challenge on the Rachael Ray show, it is all about taking action. If you want to burn the fat and lose weight take action.
There are resources here at Fat Burning Spot and all over the internet for that matter. Pick one that sounds good to you and get started now. If you want the best, use the fat burning diets that I recommend.
I was flipping through the channels today when I happened upon the Rachael Ray show. It’s not something I would normally watch. Rach is cool and all; I’m just not that into talk shows. I decided to watch it because a teen weight loss challenge was featured. I’m not sure if anyone reads my little […]
